Because the football/basketball offseason is long, hot, and boring (and this year, WET), I'll post a stupid poll or two every now and again (but probably not the same time every week like last year, unless I get more motivated).
So, in honor of the cultural entertainment phenomenon that is HBO's Game of Thrones coming to an end on Sunday, here is a special weekend edition of my stupid Summer polls. I've divided the polls into "good guys" and "bad guys" due to the number of characters, but please don't get too hung up on that as watchers of the show know that characters' goodness or badness is generally represented in shades of gray and can evolve (Dany and Jamie in this poll come to mind).
I've generally leaned toward picking characters with the most substantial roles for this poll. I'm only including characters that are people or have been people (no dragons and dire wolves).
If you just can't decide on your favorite "good guy", I'll allow you to pick up to 2 characters. Please base your favorites on the TV representations, and not the books.
