Had a source reach out to me today and said it was basically done and may even be announced soon.
But that wasn't enough to go off of so I did some more digging. Had another good source on it that said it was likely but not set in stone.
Another said there was considerable movement but that "there are options"...
Nebraska DT Peyton Newell. He is from Hiawatha, Kansas.
Me, reading in between the lines, thinks this is going to happen for K-State. Now, he wasn't a super contributor for Nebraska but likely the reason K-State hasn't freaked out about a JuCo DT when they didn't land someone like Jonathan Lolohea. And they needed someone that could play right away, and he played a little for the Huskers so should be able to at least provide immediate depth if this goes through like I believe it will.
