This has been and is a tough season. There have been disappointments but also pleasant surprises. We all knew there would be and are key positions on the team which could be weaknesses or positions needing significant improvement over the course of the season. There has been some improvement, there has also been lack of improvement.
This is a transition year, due to injuries, due to the depth chart, due to a youth-movement at some important positions. We have issues with recruiting and player development which can only be resolved with hard work and applying Coach's mantra of improving every day. This applies from the top down, game planning, play calling, coaching, practice, games and recruiting.
All that said, I believe we have a good, maybe not great, core of players. I believe in our coaches, players and system. The answers to our team's problems can only be solved through everyone doing their job. I am sure they are back to work to do just that today. Fans need to be responsible to do their job as well. Supporting the players, coaches and program. I know our fans will continue to do so. EMAW.
