Ertz - He's effective and good enough to take the team to a conference title if there were enough pieces around him. The coaches need to dial him back on the number of carries. We saw it with Klein. CK ran the ball until he was too beat up to play. Then there was a big drop off to the 2nd string and we had nothing. With a potentially great back like Barnes, there just can't be 20 carries a game for the qb.
Hubener - I can't for the life of me see why he's second string. We know exactly what he is at this point. A tough kid, huge heart, not a D1 quarterback. The fumble tells me he's not any better with game management than anyone else.
Delton - Good to see him in there for more than one play. Surely with the lead and momentum we had at the time, he could have run more offense than the read option. I don't see any reason he shouldn't be the #2 quarterback.
