Question about a "quality start" stat.

I know what a quality start is, but I have a question about it. If you give up only 1 run through 7 innings let's say, you have a quality start. But let's say you come back out in the 8th, and give up 4 more runs, do you lose the quality start? Or do you still have a quality start?
