Here is a scenario that played out today:
Defender comes in to make a tackle and blatantly leads with the crown of his helmet
Offensive player is getting down and gets under the helmet
Defender goes helmet to helmet with his own teammate (crown of the helmet to helmet)
Why isn't that player thrown out? I realize they didn't actually harm the offense, but if the idea is that you are getting rid of that type of tackling and trying to make the game safer, if you lead with the crown (against the rules) and go helmet to helmet on someone shouldn't you get tossed?
