This observation is based on limited info, but I kind of felt like the way we played today was the closest we've seen to quintessential Klieman football. The few times I saw his NDSU teams play, I remember feeling like they weren't flashy, and opponents would often play them close for awhile. But by the time the fourth quarter rolled around, NDSU would have worn the other team down, and they'd win comfortably.
Not at all saying I'm satisfied with where we're at, and there were times today (like the third quarter, of course) when the game was uncomfortable to watch, but the end result was pretty satisfying.
