today and he said Ertz is a total stud at QB. We've heard this previously from various GPC staff but hearing it in a conversation directly from a player and with the strong conviction and voice inflection, provided some increased confidence that he may indeed become a special player. Players love his leadership as well, something that was missing last year.
He obviously needs to stay healthy and his O-Line does need to develop and mature quickly (another comment that supports what we've heard previously) but Jesse sounds like the real deal!
He also said Alex has great potential at QB but that Jesse is, without question, the number one guy. Not sure what this means for Alex longer term.
K-State will seemingly need to find a way to get Delton on the field to keep a guy who was thinking he was going to be getting a lot of playing time his true Freshman year feeling like this is still the right place for him. The latter comments are my own thoughts not necessarily this player's.
