at this point in time, before conference play begins, how would you stack up the Big 12 ?

IMO, there isn't much separation between #4 to #8
It will be interesting to see which teams improve and which teams struggle to improve.
In short, K-State will need to improve to scratch out a 500 or better league record.
Barring injuries, I believe the CATS can and will improve (how much is the question).

One thing is for sure, the Big 12 is loaded this year.
The Big 12 has 3 teams in the Top 10 (Coach's poll) .... 5 of 10 teams are ranked.

If OU and ku win at home on Saturday, they will face each other on Monday and should be the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the country (go Baylor, beat ku).
Texas let the Big 12 down today with a loss at home against UConn (it was funny, I watched part of the game and the announcer was dogging the crowd ... said it was like a library in the gym...ha ha).

Here's my "current" list
#1 OU
#2 ku
#3 Iowa State
#4 Baylor
#5 West Virginia
#6 Texas
#7 KSU
#8 Texas Tech
#9 Okie State
#10 TCU
