yes, it's time to move on... but there was another critical mistake by the refs, after the unbelievable moving the chains (I guess the cheating @ss chain gang must have moved the chains, I don't believe the refs directed them to move, but not sure) ....
Back to the another bad call by the ref before half.
There was about 28 seconds left when Kody Cook ran to the sideline and was knocked out of bounds.
The Ref comes up and keeps winding the clock. Obvioulsy Kody and the coaching staff thought the clock would stop and didn't notice immediately that the clock was still running -- the clock ran down to 18 seconds before K-State called a time-out.
One of the broadcaster also questioned why the clock kept running.
On the next play Kody improvised and fired a pass along the sideline to Klein. 10 seconds left.
Had there been 17 to 20 seconds left, K-State would have ran at least one more play, instead of centering the ball for the FG attempt. Who knows what would have happened, but it's likely the CATS would have made another positive play and at least set up a shorter FG attempt. The way that Kody was making plays, who knows...the CATS might have picked up 15 to 20 yards and had 9 or 10 seconds left to take a shot in the endzone.
I don't know what in the world that ref was thinking when he came up there and kept winding the clock.
But again, it's time to move on.
GO STATE !!
