I would think if he were for sure coming back next year, that he would be very explicit and upfront on his plans to return when being questioned, as to not disrupt recruiting, etc.
I know Snyder is usually very ambiguous in his responses to questions like this, but it seems to me he may be seriously considering calling it a day.
