i still don't quite get people's problems with Hayes defense accept for maybe playing a little tighter in some 3rd down situations.
These high flying offenses love man to man coverages with a little help over the top when they are playing from their own half. There is so much room to fill the space with receivers and get somebody in behind to quick strike with 2,3,4 plays. We tend to turn these passing offenses into run style passing offenses forcing them into 6,7,8 or more play drives where you have more opportunities to stop a drive. We consistently keep them under their average scoring per game. Forget the yards. If they ain't scoring they ain't hurting us with all those yards. I know it seems frustrating to watch but it works. Take a way a td they never should have had we held them to 3 points in the second half?
I think our bigger problems last year and some this year is the offense but I think it is getting better each game. But as Marcus said it is still a year away We hold them down but can't score enough
