We got smoked in the first half. OSU played at 10/10ths and we struggled on both sides of the ball. When that happens against a team with better athletes, you're going to get beat.
I thought our game plan on offense was solid. If Howard hits the deep balls, the first half is completely transformed as we not only score, we make OSU stop focusing on the run and short passing games.
Our defense was clearly schemed in the first half. OSU made great plays, but much of that was due to scheme and then anticipating out first half adjustments to their schemes. Credit to the coaches and players for figuring it out at halftime and balling out in the second half.
