Recruiting Blunders

I ran into a friend of mine, who played for Florida State, last night. His son is a top recruit in the Dallas area and is headed to Baylor. I asked him about KSU, because I had been harassing him about KSU forever. He said the only thing they ever received from KSU was letters. He said his son was interested and would have visited but no one ever contacted them.

You may be asking yourself, why didn't I help him and reach out to KSU?

Well, I learned my lesson a number of years ago when I had to beg KSU to recruit my nephew. We took a visit and it was embarrassing. They didn't have tickets for us for the game and everything else was very unorganized and thrown together.

I delivered him on a silver platter to KSU and I was so embarrassed after that weekend I told him he should take his other visits. FYI, BV signed him to Oklahoma.

I love KSU but I agree with most that our recruiting has to change. KSU no longer has excuses! We have all we need now with facilities, money, and airport.
