I really don't recall a time where we could go to a JC kid and say, we've got 75% of the two-deep comprised of freshman and sophomores for a team that was literally a two plays from being 10-2.
If you want a big name from big games this is the place to be the next few yrs. this could realistically be a team that challenges to go undefeated and play for everything.
We will have a very athletic QB. Playmaking receivers. Stud power-running back. A core of defenders at all three levels. We just have a few plug-n-play opportunities to complete this team.
We're a lot closer that some of our own fans realize.
Xavier Davis and Octavious Morgan could be two key pieces.
I don't know if Kaltmeyer has potential to be a stud at OT. I've got to think our staff really liked something about him to welcome him as a transfer. He or possibly a JC OT could allow Risner to slide back into center.
