The ACC is going to formally propose changing the redshirt rules that would allow any player to play 4 or less games & retain redshirt status.
Should start in the normal rule change process this offseason & if approved could go into effect next season.
Would only impact seasons going forward. Schools & players won't be able to say a player only played in 3 games in 2017 & get that year back.
