Our game against KU is a great example of how much refs can influence a game. We are called for fouls on 9 straight trips and get into foul trouble. KU fans are saying KU plays defense without fouling and has bigger more athletic players. So in the second half what happened? DJ suddenly became more athletic at halftime and KU players forgot how to play defense? The way the game was called influenced how each half went. KU got off to a lead because we werent allowed to play physical. We got back into the game in the second half because we were able to get some calls and some momentum. This is what is so frustrating about college hoops. Refs can have such an impact. I dont know what the answer is but its ruining college hoops.
