Watched the game last night at friends who had a party. A guy there has coached and been around Kansas Juco football for a long time. Worked for Mangino as well, knows Dawson really well, connected to some guys on our staff. He played for Jerry Kill and they have remained close. Kill told him that he took the Rutgers job to prove he is healthy and can handle the coaching workload to the Kstate admin and if all goes well he very much is in line to take over for coach. He believes that will happen.
He also believes as long as Vaniers are involved Venables won't be coming here.
