"Some Trump staffers are reportedly afraid to leave Trump alone in meetings with foreign leaders
Business Insider
SONAM SHETH
"The White House press pool reportedly overheard a tense fight on Monday night between Trump administration officials, after the Washington Post broke the news that President Trump shared classified information with the Russian ambassador and Russian foreign minister during a closed-door meeting last week.
According to multiple White House correspondents, White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, press secretary Sean Spicer, deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Communications Director Michale Dubke could be heard yelling during a closed-door meeting -- prompting White House staffers to come to the press area and turn up TV's.
"His staff's intervention has not been well-received by Trump, the Times noted, citing two officials with knowledge of the situation. Trump is reportedly still upset that former national security adviser Michael Flynn had to resign after it emerged that he had misled the vice president about contacts he'd had with Kislyak. McMaster, Trump reportedly said, talks too much and is "a pain."
...and from his friends:
"But in another way, no, the President is not anywhere near a tipping point. In fact, he may be incapable of one. Because change does not come easily to Donald Trump. There is absolutely no sense among his friends, according to multiple sources, that he blames himself for any of his problems. It's his legal team or his communications team or his senior staff. The President, says one source, "seems to have lost confidence in everybody."
Except himself".
