I sent Gene an email last night. I was very respectful and just shared thoughts from one fan's perspective. Below is his response. I am impressed. He took the time to address specific points. It wasn't just a form letter that he wrote up to send to every fan email on this subject.

Ben,

Thanks for your welcome to K State as I am very happy and fortunate to be a part of this great institution and athletic program. I also appreciate you sharing your thoughts about Coach Snyder and our football program. I certainly understand your concerns and appreciate your thoughts and support for what Coach Snyder has done for our program, our university and our community.

I am confident Coach and his staff will make the appropriate changes and adjustments to get our team back on the winning track. Last year at this time we were sitting with a 3 and 3 record with losses to Stanford, Oklahoma and West Virginia and we finished with a very nice year and a bowl win over Texas A & M.

I talk with Coach Snyder regularly and will visit with him this week and get his thoughts on where we need to improve and how we will go about making those necessary adjustments he feels we will need to make.

Coach Snyder has made this football program a very respected program. With all of our facilities and the respect the football coaches have for our program when
Coach does decide to retire there will be interest from many talented coaches from around the country.

Thanks for your support for K State athletics and K State football. Again, I appreciate you reaching out to me.

Sincerely,

Gene Taylor
