With the exception of the OU game, the CATS have played tough on the road.
And even against OU, the CATS battled back after a major first half scoring drought, but K-State wasn't able to really put the game in doubt.
The CATS had Texas down, only to let the game slip away at the end of the game.
Of course in the last road game, K-State fell to Baylor in double over-time (Wes & Dean played poorly).
In K-State's first game against WV in Manhattan, the CATS handled WV's pressure quite well, but the mountaineers went to a zone defense in the second half that stymied the CATS. K-State loss a double over-time heart breaker.
I believe the CATS have a legitimate shot of knocking off West Virginia on Tuesday.
It's not like WV came to Manhattan and did not play hard (it was the Big 12 opener... every team gets up to open conference play). In other words, I don't believe the game went to double overtime because WV did not prepare and play hard.
It sure would be nice to steal a game in Morgan Town = a huge shot of confidence = a good mindset in preparation for Ole Miss.
GO STATE !
