Unlike Shackelford, Robertson stuck with the team that showed him the love early on = kept his word = refreshing.
BTW, had Texas gotten Robertson to flip, he would already be a 3 star rated kid (heck, maybe a 4 star...ha).
I guess the article didn't actually state that Robertson received an offer from Texas, but I'm guessing it was there for the taking since Texas only has 13 known commits (equally impressive, was the offer from Tennessee).
The Longhorn faithful have to wonder what in the tar nation is going on. K-State fans are used to K-State adding recruits late, but Texas ??? Texas only has 13 known commits --- less than 2 weeks to signing day ? Never been seen before..ha.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that there are a lot of questions being raised in the Longhorn Nation about Charlie's small recruit class at this point in time.
I believe Charlie will need to win 8 or more game this Fall to keep his job. I'm not sure 7 & 5 will get it done.
