I noticed that Zimmer has pitched in two games this past week for Wilmington (High-A). Numbers look very good - probably threw 40-50 pitches each time. If he stays healthy, he should move up through the system quickly and hopefully ready for KC during the 2nd half. Minor is another pitcher on the mend from health issues. He is also starting to pitch in the farm system. If he can return to anywhere close to his form of a couple of years ago, that would also help the Royals staff.
