Duffy with a great start. Had a no-hitter through 5 2/3 innings and a possible missed call would have carried it into the 7th. Strange finish to the game with a bloop triple with two outs followed by a couple of walks from Herrera who then has to leave because of possible injury with the bases-loaded and a 2-0 count on the batter. Alexander comes in and throws a couple of strikes and Royals win 3-2.

Ever the optimist, I think we are OK even if Herrera is out for awhile. Maurer can step in and close some games for us.
Salvy looked good but wonder if he is still hurting. As big as Salvy he doesn't need to swing hard to generate power. I hope he realizes this.
Schwindel keeps on hitting at Omaha with another hit tonight. I am expecting him to be called up.
Paulo is over .300 now at Omaha. He will come up too to help defensively.
You wonder if Herrera is put on DL if the Royals will call up Lenik?
