are showing a lot of weakness in the most important part of the game, hitting and pitching. Spring training was like a mirage with players going through the motions playing against mostly other minor leaguers. So far in the regular season no spark is detected from them. Unless they get better quickly they will be out of it before they ever get started. Concern is not so much that they have lost their first 2 games, but rather the manner of the losses. No hitting, fair starting pitching until the starter is removed and a dumpster fire relief outing by several pitchers. minor and Moylan have been o.k., but the rest of the participants, horrible. Soria and herrera have yet to make an appearance. If this isn`t reversed quickly it will be a long, miserable summer in K.C. Sorry to have to enter these comments.
