I don't care if we're down by 4 points or 40 points. Run the damn ball. We certainly can't do anything passing.
We are playing a high school level defense and we can do crap because, just like I was afraid, we would abandon the run. Conventional wisdom says when you're down big you have to throw, however you have to be able to throw to do that. Tech has such an awful run defense that our best chance of moving the ball and scoring is to jam it down their throats with the run. Oh yeah, and it would take time off the clock and keep their offense off the field. Is it that hard, coaches?
Some will say don't run it if they stack the box...but we simply can't throw effectively enough to beat the defense even when we have a numbers advantage.
