I was shocked when the penalty was called for the UTSA player running into McCrane, and then KSU refused the penalty. Then it dawned on me that the penalty wouldn't be enforced on the ensuing kickoff, and the point being good, KLSU refused it. WTF kind of rule is that? Why is the penalty not the same as for running into the punter? That's just asking for teams to try and block a kick with very little to lose if they commit a penalty in the process. Anyone else thank that is a rule that should be changed?
