I'm still not sure what all to believe about this subject but I do have a lot of respect for Robert Parry as the man who first broke the Iran/Contra scandal in the 80s and is definitely not a partisan supporter of either the Republican OR Democratic parties as you'll find if you read his book:

Anyway, I've read other articles that show the Russians were doing exactly the same things to whip up the left that they were doing to whip up the right! Trump's financial dealings with the Russians are an entirely different matter altogether, and I'm not talking about those until I see what Mueller comes up with.
But one side or the other of the US political spectrum, preferably the middles of both, needs to wake up and save this nation from ourselves. Trump is at the very least a serial liar, at best out of touch with reality with all the hiring and firing like it's a revolving door; at worst he might be losing his mind! All Putin cares about is bringing this country down and retaking all the territory Russia lost when we "won" the Cold War. He doesn't care which side actually wins here or in Britain, France, Germany (but he sure does in Ukraine) as long as we in the West continue to weaken. It's called divide and conquer, one of the oldest plays in the book, and basically he's just applying the techniques of his martial arts specialty-- judo-- which is derived from jujitsu and is based on using holds and leverage to unbalance your opponent, and let him defeat himself.
If that doesn't sound familiar, in light of the sum total of evidence, then open your eyes!
