I was posting under a different name back then but I can remember the majority of this board being pretty stupid and upset over the Frank Martin hire. I know Sean isn't a splash in the pan hire if it it would happen, but in light of so many failures in college football he holds a similar chance as to near anyone. A lot of these mid major guys do not work out nor does the up and coming assistants. It's a crap shoot at best. What I do know is that's he's been tied to the vest to the one guy that does know what it takes to win at KSU. And not one thing days Leavitt is a slam dunk as well. Seems a lot of coaches have done well at the mid major Florida schools and parlayed those gigs into more money. I'd be excited for a Stoops or a Venables, but those dreams are just dreams. This Tennessee coaching search shows you just how hard this process can be. I do know whoever the next coach, we all need to 100% support him.
