SEC payout vs. Big 12 payout

SEC individual schools no longer control their tier 3 content since start of SEC network. So despite SEC getting payout of $31.2 million per school and Big 12 getting $26 million per school (WVU and TCU got $23.5 million), if you add the $4 - $15 million that each Big 12 school gets for tier 3, the Big 12 schools each got nearly as much or more than the SEC schools (on average more).
