Setting aside the silly fluff pieces written about the Lynch Mob returning, blah, blah. There was obviously a lot of preseason hype.
Hayes' defenses have always crumbled throughout the season and have NEVER proven to be reliable. And the talent basically equated to one legitimate playmaker in Jordan Willis.
Taking that into consideration, the pre-season hype was mystifying. What on earth led people to seriously believe we would see something any different than what has transpired?
