It drives me crazy and I don't understand it !! Why do defensive backs not turn and look for the ball on certain routes and deep balls ? I see it with our team and all over the country but I just don't get it ? I only played HS football but I was DB 
and I think I looked for the ball .. I had some picks but obviously HS doesn't mean crap and the technique I see in Collge and some NFL games make me question why they don't look for the ball more especially on deep routes .. Any help from a coach or someone who has played in College would love to have some insight ..
