Skylar Thompson's Fort Osage team went to 2-0 beating Blue Springs on the road last night. Here are some of his highlights.
I liked his running highlights in this clip. Decisive, quick, some nice cuts, some speed to the edge. I will say I think Rivals has him a bit high, ratings-wise. I'd like to see him step into his throws better; he favors his back foot. As a passer, his motion and footwork remind me a lot of Ertz, as does his arm strength, which is average. He is sometimes a bit late and behind the receiver. As a runner, I think he's a little quicker, MIGHT be a little better athlete, but I'm not sure how strong. His JR highlights didn't show a very physical player, but he looks a bigger and stronger this year. He's coming into a great situation here, and he'll have some time, which i think he needs, to get stronger and work on his mechanics. But also like Ertz, he seems to be a gamer and a leader.
Definitely a good one.
