I am certainly no expert on what a player need to do but my observation of what he needs to work on is to develop the confidence to throw the ball into tighter windows and to make quicker reads of the defense. There were times that it appeared that receivers were open early but he couldn't pull the trigger. There were times that it appeared that he was uncertain of where he wanted to throw the ball. He has always seemed to be the most accurate passer and it is a skill that he needs to capitalize on. I recall seeing these simulations that the Texas Tech qbs were using to practice reading the defenses and if we have that technology, he should put himself in the "game room" several times a week. There were times when it appeared that he was afraid to make a mistake. His best drives were when he seemed to just let it rip.
