lets all be honest here, I love HCBS, have met the man and he's truly one great human being. That being said at 76 yrs old it's unfortunately time to step aside, actually last year was the right time, winning season and bowl game to go out on top. The fact is this staff cannot recruit with the others in football with a coach who undoubtedly is very near retirement. HCBS isn't a players coach, I cannot imagine that playing for him is exactly fun but when the results are great as they have been most of the time kids are well, having fun. We aren't winning now and I'm afraid the time has come to clean house. We all thought that with the stadium improvements and Vanier we'd pick up better recruits, the truth still remains the HC is why most kids go to a program along with school name. Miami for instance hasn't been crap for years and their facilities are awful but they are the U and kids still go there. It's time to move on let coach enjoy retirement and see what BV can do with this program! Just one fans perspective.
