K-State opened up their three game set with Milwaukee this afternoon in not so stellar fashion, dropping the opening game 14-1 and ending their six game winning streak. Starting pitcher Corey Fischer couldn't even get past the first out before being pulled as he allowed three hits and four runs and things didn't get any better as Colton Kalmus gave up a grand slam in the second inning. The bats weren't any better as the Wildcats only scored one run off of five hits. All in all it was a really, really, really bad day. Hopefully they can come back and tie the series tomorrow.
