Posted some of this in the game thread, but...
- Our opponents are now 111 for 158 for 70% completion rate against us. For most college QBs, that's a career game. Against our defense, it's just....average.
- Versus two B12 opponents, Deuce has carried 23 times for 73 yards, 3.17 ypc. He's had 3.4 ypc, or less, in 5 of his 11 B12 games.
- Sky threw for 320 yards today--the second-best passing game of his career (only last year vs. OU was better). And even with a 300+ yard game, the run game--with the RBs--was largely impotent (Ervin did a little better, but didn't have many carries). In short, it's NOT the passing game that opens up the run...it's the threat of the QB RUN game that does. And without that, this Kansas State team struggles mightily to run the ball. It's a major problem and puts a ceiling on this team. It means, simply enough, that we aren't capable of winning the LoS.
- B12 Passer ratings vs. the K-State defense:
- Rattler: 188
- Sanders: 169
