I just watched the Kade Warner video, and something he said struck me as amazing. Near the end of the video, he casually stated, "I've never been to a bowl before."
For those of us of a certain age, to hear this being said by someone who played 3 years at Nebraska is stunning.
It really drove home just how far Nebraska has fallen from it's previous heights. It also adds perspective for us as K-State fans.
As much as we bemoan our recent doldrums, we've enjoyed far greater success than our traditional blue blood neighbor.
I desperately want to see our program improve and compete for a conference title again. At the same time though, I'm so glad we aren't experiencing the depths of misery being felt in Lincoln.
