The lazy internal promotions and shifting around of position coaches never felt like a good move to me.
Moving Seiler to LB's coach and promoting Godinet and adding Fabris ( has he had any sort of impact? ) was a patch work attempt at best. I like Seiler a lot, but moving him to coach a position he never has before is apparent, as was promoting a very inexperienced Godinet to have primary duties with DE's was not a good move.
I understand it was probably uphill sledding for Snyder to go out and reel in quality outside hires with his current untenable status as HC, but Jeff Kelly for instance? You dont even give him a call?
