So which is it? Did the band intentionally form a phallic symbol and truly warrant discipline or was it idiots wanting to see what they want to see and make an issue of something in their dirty minds?

No one has complained about the Jayhawk being depicted in the band formation and being blown up. The only issue has been the perceived vulgarity of the band formation. So we apologize for forming a Jayhawks but plead no contest to the vulgarity. Absolutely spineless. Corporate political correctness at its absolute worst. So when our fans boo the other team or the officials get booed are we going to eject fans? When we show replays on a blown call that get fans riled up are we going to fine the video board operator and issue a a apology? Are we going to stop showing the powercat train blowing up the opposing team's helmet? Where do you draw the line?

This pandering response weakens the University and implies guilt. NATIONALLY! If the band was guilty own it. Say it happened and if it was intentional than yes band director should be fired.

If there was no guilt than call out the media and KU for being deviants (ala Donald Trump) and shame them for turning attention away from what is very difficult band maneuvers that I am quite sure took weeks and months to prepare.

Our response was middle ground because we couldn't take the heat. So Inturn you let your own people take the fall for something that was never intended and do so under the weak argument of a violation of code of conduct .
Ohio state band has routinely depicted the block M in band formations in a "negative" way consistent of a rivalry. That is all that was done here. It's college sports it's a rivalry. What ever perceived testicles that existed in the band formation have figuratively been castrated by the administration along with their own. I am simply disgusted by Shultz and Currie.
