Just offering some local knowledge/opinions.

SPORTING STADIUM: Great place, extremely well run, much better than the Chiefs or Royals, imho....they absolutely whiffed on the parking as you'll see, but forgiving that, it's an extremely enjoyable place. Technology in the stadium is unreal.

KIDS: Two places right across from each other at the Legends Shopping Center which is adjacent to the stadium. Dave & Busters which is a huge game arcade worked around food and drink and the T-Rex Café that is a dinosaur themed spot that the kids seem to love.

DINING: Three suggestions--

Yardhouse--if you're looking for nicer sit down dining, a little pricier meal, broad menu--center of the Legends, 1863 Village West Parkway, 913 788-4500

Chuisanos Pizza--right across the way from the stadium, not your standard pizza place, sit down area but not too formal, reasonable pricing, 1713 Village West Parkway, 913 299-8787

Danny's Bar and Grill---sports bar with tables and tons of TV's, several big screens, my favorite wings in town, cold beer......KSU friendly from what I've seen, heard they're offering some purple discounts that day, 10940 Parallel Parkway, 913 328-0247
