I know your busy now but I have a request.
I love the walk on program here at KSU, so many have been such contributions recently. By all accounts we are told that they are treated like scholarship players at KSU.
But we never get much info on there high school career's, and some of their schools don't keep stats on them.
Point I'd like to see them get much more coverage like scholarship recruits....
I'm very interested to learn more about Nick Ast QB, was a two way player at Cimmaron, Ks. This kid from his video has a great arm and a very good runner, 6'5" and ran a 11:90 in the 110 meter high hurdles...saw him at fan day and instantly noticed him throwing in some drills.
Throws a sweet ball and the 4 throws I saw were absolutely perfect....he played CB also and wasn't scared to hit someone.
Jacob Jenkins Chaparral Ks..LB..another 2 way player that I watched in drills and was very impressive, but no stats, this kid is big and fast, these kids never leave the field and most definitely get tired and still produce at high level.
Ross Elder DB Rockhurst another 2 way player that played everywhere in the 2 years of film I saw...RB, WR, and DB.
Would love to get some in depth articles on our walkons..I think these kids can be major contributors in future.
Would love to see how past players that received Scout team awards and overachiever awards have faired in their careers.
Thanks
