-A lot of guys were disenfranchised. I believe it was in their making....there decision to be oil in water. They were going to be individuals. The team aspect just didn't happen, they didn't buy into team....not pulling in same direction.

-Was easier for some of these guys to throw in the towel than accept the challenge.

-For example, here Nigel is....trying to decide what to do....has the job basically handed to him.....but he decides to leave. Why? These guys....coming to that type of conclusion....I'm glad they left.

-If that's the kind of guys that were around, probably better off reshuffling the deck and moving forward.

-Hurt should come around, Edwards should improve, Wesley (I don't remember him mentioning Malek...but he said "those four" so I may of missed it).

-Looking at who left, I just can't be sad.

-Clink: Trend line for Bruce looks same as it did at Illinois. How much pressure will be on Bruce next year? Also, how much does having Underwood out there make it even more difficult? Stan: I know Brad really well, so he won't get mad at me for saying this....but how much of his success was winning with someone else's players? But, yes, heat is on Bruce next year. I will say this....K-State's "disaster" this year was so very close to being a successful year. So, margin for error is so small in college sports.

-Todd: How much of "bad apples" falls on Bruce, though? Foster had great parents. Great game. What you can't predict is how they'll adjust to college. There were no hints from HS or AAU coach that he'd buck the system. But, yes, Bruce has to own it at this point. It's on him.
