-First, what about those Chiefs? Chiefs turned it over 5 times. Simple as that. They win last night, they win the AFC West, IMO. But, only week two. They can still win west. They are better than Denver. They are still a playoff team. They are a very good football team. Reid can clean up the issues.
-What about this LT offense? Explosive. OB underachieved at Florida, but has been awakened at LT. No pressure. Just go out and sling the ball around and produce. Don't worry about interceptions. Playing much more relaxed.
-RB will probably be best one they face all year.
-So, throwing....rushing....they are VERY balanced. Have thrown for over 300 yards in both games....in addition to their rushing attack.
-Question will be their defense against KSU's offense. If can hold up at all against K-state's offense, will be a dogfight.
-Talk about Joe's short passes problem? Stan's theory is not short vs. long.....but more vertical vs. horizontal. Gave example that throwing down line of scrimmage can actual be a long pass. Stan thinks he'll get into a better rhythm and is not overly concerned about short passing game. But, he is struggling with it. Stan thinks it's more a turning the body issue.
-Herm Edwards jumps in and stills the show.......(Stan had referenced a Herm fumble recovery similar to last night and Herm called in).
-Stan's prediction.........KSU 34-24.
