-How many spots are still open on these teams (general question)? More at a place like at KU, but in general 8 out of 10 would be locked up. Process of elimination. Kind a like taking a multiple choice test. At KU, with new coach, many more would be up for grabs.
-For a guy like Snyder, when would game week start? Since first game of year, starts a little earlier. Usually it's Saturday night before the next Saturday's game. With being the first game, end of this week. So much to cover, just with game day procedures...let alone game-planning, that it'll start a week early.
-KK: Not surprisingly, Bill Snyder didn't make the infamous Top 25 poll of arrests. But, Big 12 and SEC well represented. Hate to bring this up, but let's discuss Baylor. This is very serious. It reeks of a cover-up. What the heck is going on at Baylor and Art Briles? Stan: Winning games the right way should be celebrated, but certain things can't be tolerated. College is unfortunately more like the pros now. It's big, big money. Baylor is now relevant, so winning FB became so important to them. People at highest level, those that should be looking the closest, are now the most conflicted. They hold their breath.....look the other way.
-But what's this say about Art Briles when now Peterson says he alerted Baylor to this? We all thought Art was good, hard working, humble, loyal, down-to-earth kind a guy.....hard working former HS coach. My opinion of Art has changed. Once he got good, he started embarrassing himself: calling out commissioner, wouldn't back off criticizing Big 12. Gary Paterson was classy during all last year's "one true champion" fiasco, not Art. I don't like them. They are hard to root for. They've gotten cocky. Winning has definitely changed him. I want to root for Phil Bennett, but can't even do that.
