I think that we need to have a rule change in pro baseball that allows for a designated fielder. Although I haven't seen any of the throws, Bubba is gunning down many runners. He has had at least four in the last week in the box scores that I follow. The only problem is where do you play a guy hitting below .200 and strikes out a couple of times a game? Is this the last year of Royals control of Bubba or is there one more? At this time, it is looking doubtful that he is going to hit enough to make the bigs.
