When I posted the recruiting update on the Stoops twins, I failed to add two interesting quotes from Isaac Stoops on K-State's first practice he attended.
The first involved Bill Snyder:
"He was good. He was there at the start and all the way through. He came by during a drill and spoke with us for a minute. He sounded great and looked great."
--- Probably not a big deal considering Stoops doesn't see Snyder regularly, but the fact he made mention of Coach staying for the entirety of practice says a lot about his strength through his treatment.
The second revolved around players who stood out:
"No. 9 at receiver (Byron Pringle), he was really nice. Such a big physical guy. I also liked, No. 8 and No. 2 at corner (Duke Shelley and DJ Reed). They can really play and broke on the ball so fast. They were really fun to watch."
--- Sure, these are players we expect to stand out but, considering the players Stoops sees on a regular basis at OU when visiting his dad's squad, it's telling of the caliber athlete on this current roster. Bright season ahead.
Nothing earth shattering but I wanted to share.
