One thing I am curious about with regards to our recruiting is the ability of the new coaching staff to evaluate and offer talent without depending on the evaluation of other programs. It seems to me based on recruits like Mozee, Black, Warner, etc. who have no stars but seem to be high level talents that the new staff is actually superior to the old staff in recognizing and offering high level talent before recruiting sites anoint them as such.

What do you think about this @Matt Hall and @Derek Young ? In the small sample size we have thus far is the new recruiting staff actually better evaluators of talent or are they just spending more time on evaluation or is it a mixture of both? Or am I just looking at this completely wrong and the actually are no better than the old staff in this regard?
