I am curious what everyone really thinks...Talent Vs. Coaching, how the two converge and diverge with Wins and Loses. Let's eliminate the two obvious upfront...most of the time If you have superior talent and superior coaching you will tend to have a higher % of Wins. Conversely, if you have no talent and poor coaching, higher % of loses. What I want to know is, how far does talent take you when coaching is lacking and vice versa?
Subject for discussion is Texas...They get the best Talent...have the most of, well...everything, and have not been completely void of good coaching over the years. I guess what I am really asking is...why is Texas not Alabama? Does the game of college football really only come down to Coaching in the end...regardless of talent?
What say you?
