Here are some notes I took over Chris Lowery's call to KMAN.

Enjoy.

*Says that the guys are leaders and want to learn-they asked questions all the time. Says they put in the extra work and are always working to improve.

*Says that Stokes is a speedster and a shooter who gets off the ball well. Says he'll be a help in games with his shooting ability. Also says hes a daredevil on offense sometimes and that's something they're working on. (possible plays available but versus the right play to select) Says his vision is great, but sees plays developing that other plays don't see at first and gets ahead. Basically, he's promising but has some freshman tendancies.

*Says Carlbe is a throwback player with a high motor. Says he can rebound, defend, pass it well. Intangibles like IQ and tenancity are definitely there also. Doesn't think there will be much of an adjustment from the JUCO level apart from possibly offense. Says the offense will come with time as he adjusts, but those other abilities listed above are already at a high level.

*Says that both Barry Brown and Dean Wade will possibly be the leading scorers- but they aren't pressuring them to be "the man". Says that they aren't looking for one player and that they are focused on who emerges as a lead scorer from the opportunities that motion provides.

*Says that Dean Wade isn't respected by people because he was from a small town and says that people won't see him coming. Says his skill level and playmaking ability is shocking for his size and length.

*Says they got too caught up in playcalling last year and Wes was caught up in that standing out on the wing while others had the ball passed to them on designed plays. Says he's going to be in motion and less pressure is coming his way. Say that they're telling him to "just be himself"-feels like the offense will come from him when he's back to playing like himself. Says his enegery and enthusiasm are back to his freshman levels. Says they're challenging him to rebound more so that he can push the ball.
